SAN DIEGO (CNS) -- A multiple-vehicle crash snarled traffic on State Route 163 in Kearny Mesa Thursday morning, but no one was injured.
The pileup shortly before 8 a.m. involved up to five vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol. Traffic on the busy highway backed up to Interstate 805 in less than 10 minutes after the crash, the CHP said.
Wrecked vehicles were blocking two northbound lanes, along with the Balboa Avenue on- and off-ramps. A SigAlert was issued.
No injuries were reported, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
